Mondrian
In our Mondrian unit, students are exposed to the artist Piet Mondrian. The children will demonstrate an understanding of the three primary colors: red, yellow, and blue. They will also learn how to draw a straight line using a ruler, and how to best control their coloring skills.

Bugs
The Bug unit is inspired from the series of books by David Kirk about "Miss Spider". We will read "Miss Spider's Tea Party" to see different kinds of bugs, and then brainstorm even more creepy crawlers. Each student will create one insect of their choice by drawing with geometric shape, tearing paper, and using proper gluing skills.
