ABCs of Community Pride
In art class, students will brainstorm in groups about what makes our community, Wood Dale, so great! Next, each student will choose a letter to use to compose a sentence about our community. Students will then illustrate their sentence using pencil and colored pencil. Books will be made featuring student work from A to Z!
Expand Your Ideas
This unit is optimal for demonstrating fine motor skills control with intricate cutting and detailed coloring! Each student will choose one small fragment from a magazine to inspire a whole unique scene of their imagination.
